We almost have 80 players registered for the big tournament in Lakeland, FL on Feb. 28-29, 2020. If you have not signed up yet, get it in gear and sign up. You can even call me on my cell phone and I will put you in the tournament. Call me or text me at 863-370-5163. Let me know which events you want to enter and of course your name. You can also register online, if that floats your boat.
So, here is Big Brad's Reason #3 for coming to the great Lakeland tournament on Feb. 28-29, 2020! And it is a BIG reason. Somebody at the end of the 2020 season is going to win a super-duper Paddle Palace Table Tennis Robot, worth $800.00. And on top of that, there is an extra $500.00 that will be awarded to the players with the highest number of series points.
So, how to you win Series Points? Well, it is easy. At each of the 7 USATT tournaments in Lakeland, you win Series Points according to how well you finish in your particular class and event. It does not matter if you are in the Championship Class or one of the lower classes. Everyone wins Series Points determined by how well you finish. If you finish first in your class, you will win more points, but every place, all the way down to last place, wins Series Points.
At the end of the season, after all 7 tournaments, we total up all the Series Points to see who wins the big prizes! It is usually really close with a lot of players in the running up to the last tournament. By the way, I will tell you a secret on how to win, just don't tell anyone...Come to all 7 tournaments and rack up points at each tournament. That gives you a really good chance to win.
