2016 Tournament Schedule Begins For Mid-Florida Tour

FIRST MID-FLORIDA TOUR TOURNAMENT IS SCHEDULED FOR 2016!!!

Keith Hanley, the Tournament Director for the Sunrise Table Tennis Club, has announced the first tournament for the 2016 Mid-Florida Table Tennis Tour has been scheduled. This high quality two-star USATT tournament will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the fabulous Long Center in beautiful Clearwater, Florida. 

The Clearwater Winter Open will offer over $1400.00 in prize money and trophies for the ten events held during the day long tournament. This will be a Rated Event with the following events:

OPEN SINGLES
UNDER 2100 SINGLES
UNDER 1950 SINGLES
UNDER 1800 SINGLES
UNDER 1650 SINGLES
UNDER 1500 SINGLES
UNDER 1350 SINGLES
UNDER 1200 SINGLES
UNDER 1000 SINGLES
SANDPAPER SINGLES

Only 16 players will be registered for each event, so please register as soon as possible to make sure you secure a place. The tournament is expected to completely fill--before the deadline!

The Mid-Florida Table Tennis Tour provides a growing number of high quality USATT sanctioned tournaments during each season in various parts of Florida. Players earn TOUR POINTS at each tournament in which they compete. At the end of the season, the tour points are totaled and prizes are awarded to the winners. Newgy is providing a high quality, top of the line, Newgy Robot to the winner. In addition, cash prizes and other awards will be presented to the top winners of the Tour. DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MIDNIGHT TONIGHT

Today is your LAST CHANCE to register for the fantastic Florida Senior Games State Championship in Table Tennis. The Deadline has been extended to MIDNIGHT tonight (11-22-15).
There are already 133 players officially registered, which is an all-time record for Table Tennis on a non-National Senior Games qualifying year. The all-time record for any year is 145, so we are very close to that record, even though this is not a qualifying year for the National Senior Games.

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA

It is not too late to REGISTER for the Florida Senior Games 2015-Table Tennis. The deadline for mail in entries is November 18, 2015 and the deadline for Online Registration is November 20, 2015.

All seniors (Age 50+) who qualified at any of the 20 Local Senior Games around the state can register and enter the state championship tournament, which will be held on December 7-8, 2015 at the Long Center in Clearwater, Florida. This major tournament is expected to draw over 100 senior Table Tennis Players from all over.

This is the last week to register for the Florida Closed Table Tennis Tournament which will be held in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, November 14, 2015. This is the last Mid-Florida Table Tennis Tour Event for 2015 and will determine the winners of all the prizes at the end of the tour, including the fabulous Deluxe Newgy Robot which is valued at almost $900.00.

If you are Age 50 or above on December 31, 2015, you are eligible to enter any of the Florida Senior Games! In Table Tennis, there is a great Local Senior Game left in Sanford, Florida. You can still enter this great Senior Event for Table Tennis and qualify for the Florida Senior Games State Championship that will be held in December of this year.

The Table Tennis Event will be held on November 12, 2015 in Sanford, Florida. Information on how to register is located below!!!

Remember, you MUST qualify at a Local Senior Game in order to compete in the State Championship in Table Tennis, so here is a great chance to participate in a local game and to qualify for the State Championship in Florida!
