REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR LAKELAND USATT TOURNAMENT
FEBRUARY 17-18, 2017


Tournament officials at Lakeland Table Tennis Association in Lakeland, Florida are now registering players for the first USATT tournament of the 2017 season in Lakeland, Florida.

The Florida Orange Blossom Series Winter Open will be held on February 17-18, 2017, with three exciting events on Friday night and the very popular Colossal Round Robin Singles on Saturday.

Friday night will feature USSTTA sanctioned Sandpaper Singles, SBBTTA sanctioned Super Big Ball Singles and in addition, the Florida Winter 2017 Doubles Event will he held. All events on Friday night will begin at 6:00 p.m. The gymnasium will open at 5:00 p.m.for practice, registration and warm-up.

The Saturday Colossal RR Singles Event will begin at 9:00 a.m. A maximum number of 121 players may enter this event. The gymnasium will open at 8:00 a.m.for practice, registration and warm-up.

MID-FLORIDA TOUR
2016 SEASON WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Brad Woodington, the Director of the Florida Orange Blossom Series and The Mid-Florida Tour, has announced the winners of the 2016 season. The prizes will be awarded for both the Series and the Tour at the next tournament in Lakeland, Florida (February 18, 2017) during the lunch break for the tournament (around Noon). All winners should make plans to be present for the special ceremony and to receive their prizes.

Two Newgy Deluxe Table Tennis Robots and close to $1000.00 in cash will be awarded to the winners of both of the 2016 season events in the special ceremony. Each Newgy Robot has a MSRP of $1,199.00. It is the most popular and best selling Newgy Robot.

TWO GREAT USATT TOURNAMENTS COMING TO FLORIDA

LAKELAND PREPARING FOR FIRST TOURNAMENT OF 2017


Brad Woodington, the Tournament Director of Lakeland Table Tennis, is excited about the new 2017 season of USATT sanctioned tournaments in Lakeland, Florida. This will be the 16th year in which Lakeland TT has been sponsoring quality USATT events. 

The first tournament will be a Florida Orange Blossom Series Tournament and will be held on February 17-18, 2017 at the Simpson Park Community Center in Lakeland, Florida. A total of 24 first class Butterfly Tables will be available for the tournament. The official ball of all the tournaments in Lakeland and just about all sanctioned tournaments in Florida will be the Nittaku 3 Star Premium 40+ white ball. This ball has been acclaimed as the best ball in the world and is the first choice of many players around the world. The USATT has also chosen this ball for the U.S. Open and the Nationals.

Over $2000.00 in cash and trophies for the top 4 places in each event will be available.
Complimentary lunch of pizza, soft drinks and bottled water will be provided to all players.
Tournament results will be submitted to the USATT within 10 minutes of the close of the tournament, with new ratings normally posted on the following Monday by the USATT.

JACKSONVILLE USATT TOURNAMENT ALMOST FULL!!!


As of this article date, the Jacksonville Ishaka Table Tennis USATT tournament is almost full. In fact, there are only 8 places left in this fabulous tournament. This is the first of many tournaments in Jacksonville, Florida and the excitement is at a frenzied level. It's not too late to enter, but players need to be quick as the tournament should fill up shortly.

The tournament will be held on January 28, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida. It will be the first Mid-Florida Table Tennis Tour event of 2017. Excitement In Jacksonville As New USATT Tournament Nears


The Table Tennis officials from the Ishaka Table Tennis Club in Jacksonville, Florida are gearing up for a great USATT sanctioned tournament. The Mid-Florida Table Tennis Tour Tournament will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017. As of this report, close to 30 players have already registered and officials expect the tournament to be completely filled before the deadline.

Mid-Florida Table Tennis Tour Is Expanding for 2017 Season

JACKSONVILLE TABLE TENNIS CLUB JOINS 

THE MID-FLORIDA TOUR

In a very important announcement for Table Tennis in Florida, the Jacksonville Ishaka Table Tennis Club has officially joined the Mid-Florida Table Tennis Tour. The addition of Jacksonville now spreads the coverage area across the state of Florida. Tour sites now include Clearwater, Lakeland, Orlando and now Jacksonville. Clearwater, Lakeland and Orlando have already committed to two exciting tour tournaments in 2017 and Jacksonville has scheduled one tour tournament, for a total of seven USATT sanctioned tournaments so far this season. Jacksonville may add another tournament at a later date and a couple of other clubs may also join the tour this year.

The Mid-Florida Table Tennis Tour will again offer a deluxe model of the famous Newgy Robot for the winner and additional cash prizes approaching $500.00 for the top finalists in tour points during the season. Players earn Tour Points at each Mid-Florida tournament in each event for First, Second, Third and Fourth Place. The Tour Points accumulate during each of the seven tournaments and the players with the highest number of Tour Points will be eligible for the prizes. All classes and events are eligible, regardless of the player’s rating or rank.
