Hey Gang!I have a bunch of good reasons for you to attend the next big tournament in Lakeland, Florida on October 29-30, 2021. I am going to highlight them, one by one, so here goes #5
HELP US SUPPORT TABLE TENNIS!
This reason is sort of a serious one, so bear with me on this one. We have been noticing a trend across this Nation and in Florida concerning our sport of Table Tennis. To be blunt, our sport is not growing as much as it should. Other racket sports are rapidly growing, adding new members, adding new facilities and numerous tournaments and daily and weekly schedules. Local Table Tennis Clubs are struggling to survive across the Nation.
At Lakeland Table Tennis, we want to be here for our players, providing playing opportunities every week and high quality USATT sanctioned tournaments all year long. We don't want our sport to fade away, as some think is actually happening.
So, Reason # 5 is that we really need for you to attend our tournaments in Lakeland. We are a Non-Profit Organization in Florida. No one here has a salary. We sometimes struggle to just pay the basic expenses of having tournaments after everything is finalized and paid in full.
When you enter our tournaments in Lakeland, you are allowing us to continue to provide for all of us in our Table Tennis Community!
