FINAL TOURNAMENT FOR LAKELAND TABLE TENNIS IN 2015
Brad Woodington, President of the Lakeland Table Tennis Association, is expecting a full-house at the last USATT sanctioned tournament in Lakeland, Florida for 2015. Woodington emphasized this projection due to the next tournament will not be until February of 2016. Players are already registering for this popular event which is scheduled for October 23-24, 2015 at the Simpson Park Community Center in Lakeland.
The success of the seven USATT sanctioned tournaments in Lakeland during 2015 has been due to the great support from the players all over Florida and beyond.

LAKELAND SCHEDULES 7 USATT TOURNAMENTS FOR 2016
The Lakeland Table Tennis Association has announced that seven USATT sanctioned tournaments have already been sanctioned and approved for the 2016 season. All these great tournaments will also feature USSTTA sanctioned Sandpaper Events and SBBTTA sanctioned Big Ball Events and the great Doubles Events on Friday night. FLORIDA MASTERS TOURNAMENT UNDER CONSIDERATION FOR 2016
The Administrative Planning and Research Committee for the Lakeland Table Tennis Association is currently considering a specially designed table tennis tournament for a broad spectrum of Senior Players in Florida for 2016. The committee is considering a combined USATT sanctioned tournament and a Non-sanctioned tournament to be held simultaneously on a two-day schedule. The dual event is being considered for players in all age ranges, beginning at 30-39, 40-49 and then 50-54 and all other age groups up to 90-94 and beyond, Players can choose to enter the USATT sanctioned event or the Non-sanctioned event in all the various age groups for which they qualify. Senior advocates for Table Tennis in Florida have urged consideration for a special Senior tournament and this possible tournament is a direct response to the numerous requests for such a tournament. The committee will continue to meet and study the proposal during the next few months. A formal announcement will be made at a later date as plans are finalized. We appreciate the interest being shown by our great Seniors in the Sunshine State.
