Bill Mitcheson has announced that new T-shirts with the famous Space Coast Table Tennis Logo will be available in the local clubs in the area. This promotion will allow players who actively support the local club to obtain the T-shirts at no cost. This is a great opportunity to support the local club and also to advertise the club throughout the area. Mitcheson also announced that two brand new table tennis tables will be purchased for use in the local club.
We would also like to wish a speedy recovery for Ted Hackler, Jr. who has had recent surgery. Ted has been a long time supporter of Table Tennis in central Florida.

VERO BEACH TABLE TENNIS ADDS A NEW CERTIFIED COACH
Tyson McCoy is now a fully certified USATT Coach. McCoy is an active member of the Vero Beach Table Tennis Club and has greatly improved his own play at the club and at various tournaments in Florida. Having certified coaches available at local clubs is a real plus for the sport. The enthusiasm that McCoy brings to the sport will certainly be a plus for his students.

RECORD NUMBER OF PLAYERS FOR SUNSHINE STATE GAMES
Brad Woodington, the state director for the Florida Sunshine State Games-Table Tennis, has announced a record number of registrants for the upcoming Florida Championship Tournament. Woodington reports that close to 100 players will be competing in this special State Sponsored Tournament. Fifteen events will be held in this famous two-day tournament with players from all over Florida and several other states in attendance. Woodington is thankful for the broad support of Table Tennis in Florida. The tournament will be held in beautiful Lakeland, Florida with 24 Butterfly Table Tennis Tables on June 20-21, 2015. All players will receive a T-Shirt as part of this festive event. The Sunshine State Games is the longest continuous State Games in the entire nation. Woodington has indicated that the great number of players who have entered the tournament this year will guarantee the continuance of Table Tennis in the State Games.
