NOW REGISTERING-USATT TOURNAMENT IN LAKELAND, FLORIDA

Brad Woodington, the Tournament Director for Lakeland Table Tennis is excited to announce that registration is now open for the wildly popular Florida Orange Blossom Series Table Tennis Tournament. This fabulous tournament is scheduled for May 13-14, 2016 in beautiful Lakeland, Florida. 

This great tournament will feature three exciting events on Friday evening, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Players may enter one, two or all three fun-filled events. The events consist of the popular SUPER BIG BALL SINGLES EVENT, USSATT SANDPAPER SINGLES EVENT and CHAMPIONSHIP DOUBLES EVENT. Trophies will be provided for the top four finishers in each event and a special $50 cash award will be presented to the winner of the SBBTTA sanctioned Super Big Ball Singles Event. Friday evening is an exciting and fun-filled time. Players can also practice for the huge Saturday event during this time period on the 24 Butterfly Tables available.

Saturday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. is the spectacular COLOSSAL ROUND ROBIN SINGLES EVENT. A maximum of 121 players are allowed to enter this event. A total of $2000.00 is available during the tournament and trophies for the top 4 places in each of the 11 USATT sanctioned events.

Pizza, soft drinks and bottled water are complimentary to all players and Brad Woodington reminds everyone to please stop by and have some of his cookies at the Control Desk during the afternoon session. 

This fabulous tournament will be LIVE STREAMED via YouTube around the world and a monitor will be available for live scoring of all matches in progress during the tournament. Players and spectators can view the monitor to see how each player is progressing during the tournament. Scores of all matches are shown live on the monitor. 

Twenty four highest quality Butterfly Tables will be available with the best tournament level nets. The new Nexy 40+ Poly Premium balls (White) will be the official USATT sanctioned tournament ball.
