SUNSHINE STATE GAMES BREAKS ALL-TIME RECORD!!!

The Sunshine State Games-Table Tennis 2015 was held on June 20-21, 2015 in Lakeland, Florida at the Simpson Park Community Center. A total of 91 players registered for the annual event. Not only was this a record number for Table Tennis in all the Sunshine State Games, but it appears to be a record number of entries nationwide for Table Tennis in the various state games around the nation. 

Players were in attendance from all parts of Florida and from four additional states. Several of the groups had upwards of 34 players registered for the Saturday events. It was a full day of exciting play on all 24 Butterfly Tables. Brad Woodington was pleased with the great turnout of players and the support for Table Tennis in Florida.

NOW REGISTERING FOR LAKELAND JULY TOURNAMENT

The Lakeland Table Tennis Association has announced that registration is now open for the Mid-Florida Table Tennis Tour tournament which is to be held in Lakeland, Florida on July 17-18, 2015. A total of $2000.00 will be available for prize money at the two-star USATT sanctioned tournament. Trophies will be provided for 1st through 4th place in all the single events. Pizza, soft drinks and bottled water will be provided for all participants at the tournament. Newgy Industries is also providing a high quality $895.00 Table Tennis Robot for the winner of the Mid-Florida Table Tennis Tour at the end of the season.
