The Florida Sports Foundation has scheduled the HUGE annual Table Tennis Tournament for June 18-19, 2016 in beautiful Lakeland, Florida. This two-star USATT sanctioned tournament continues to increase in popularity as players are drawn from far and near to this great two day super event.

This popular tournament will have 15 events available for players of all ages and skill levels. All players will also receive a special Tournament Shirt and other special items when they arrive at the tournament site (Simpson Park Community Center in Lakeland, Florida).

Brad Woodington, the Tournament Director for the Florida Orange Blossom Series Spring Open 2016, has announced that there are still openings in all the events being offered, but sign up as soon as possible to be sure you have a slot. Only 121 players can register for the Colossal Round Robin Event on Saturday. Openings are available on Friday night for Super Big Ball Singles, USSTTA Sandpaper Singles, and Winter Championship Doubles. Players may enter all three events on Friday night and also the Colossal Round Robin Event on Saturday. You do not need to enter both days. 

 A total of $2000.00 in cash will be available and beautiful trophies for the top four places in all events. 

This is also the second of FOUR great Orange Blossom Series Tournaments in Lakeland this year. Players earn Series Points at each tournament. Prizes are awarded at the end of the season for the players with the most accumulated Series Points during the season. The secret to winning is to be sure that you enter each tournament in the Series.

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR PLAYERS AND SUPPORTERS

We would like to thank you for your support and interest in our USATT sanctioned table tennis tournaments in Lakeland, Florida. It is only with the continuing support of our players and supporters that we can continue to offer high quality, exciting tournaments in Lakeland, Florida.

INVITATION TO OUR NEXT TOURNAMENT

We would like to invite you to our next tournament in Lakeland. It will be held on May 13-14, 2016. Friday night beginning at 6:00 p.m., Super Big Ball (44mm), USSTTA Sandpaper and Championship Doubles will be offered. Players may enter one, two or all three events. Trophies are presented to the top 4 places and a special $50 cash prize for Super Big Ball will be provided.

 

COLOSSAL ROUND ROBIN SINGLES

The fabulous Colossal Round Robin Singles will be offered on Saturday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. There is a maximum limit of 121 players in this very popular event. Trophies will be awarded to the top four winners in each of the eleven classes. 

PRIZES AND AWARDS

A grand total of $2,000.00 in cash will be available to our players. Complimentary Pizza, Soft Drinks and Bottled Water will be provided for lunch on Saturday, and don't forget the cookies supplied by Big Brad Woodington to give you that added boost of energy during the afternoon session.

TECHNOLOGY AND TABLES

We have 24 superior Butterfly Tables available with high quality nets and Newgy Barriers. We will also be Live Streaming the tournament on YouTube. In addition, a live monitor will be available that displays live results during the tournament so players can check on their standing and win-loss record.

FLORIDA ORANGE BLOSSOM SERIES TOURNAMENT

This tournament will also be the second of four Florida Orange Blossom Series Tournaments in 2016. All entered players will be awarded Series Points according to how they finish in their individual class. For example, players who finish 1st in their class will win 120 Series points. The number of points is graduated downward by ten points (2nd place=110 points) all the way down to 11th place with 20 points. At the end of the season, all the accumulated Series Points will be tabulated with some serious prizes for the winners. The grand prize is a top of the line Newgy Deluxe Robot, worth almost $900.00. Cash and other awards will also be provided to the winners.
